ULTRA CZECH 515/Our story

OUR STORY

ALOHA.
OHANA.
KOKUA.

Ultraman is one of the toughest challenges in triathlon. The race is spread across three days: 10 km of swimming and 145 km of cycling on day one, 276 km on the bike on day two, and an 84 km run on day three. Each stage has a twelve-hour time limit.

The first Ultraman took place in Hawaii in 1983. From the beginning, it was built not only around athletic performance but also around three principles of Hawaiian culture: aloha — love, ohana — family, and kokua — help. That is why the support crew is an essential part of the race, standing beside the athlete throughout all three days.

Five years later, a second Ultraman followed in Penticton, Canada, and the idea of the three-day ultra triathlon gradually spread further. ULTRA CZECH 515 carries that tradition forward in Račice — on a fast, compact course where extraordinary athletic performance meets teamwork, endurance and the atmosphere that belongs to this distance.
